A Great Décision - Sale my House I am retired more than 10 years already. I had a difficult decision to sell my house, but who can help me through this process? As per my experience as a professional throughout my career, I knew how to find the best employee to help in my work. I used the same approach to sell my house. First, I chose RE/MAX because being the larger company, they will be able to communicate using tools to reach a greater public. The other factor I had to choose was the employees. We know when it is time to do evaluation of their performance none have the same attitudes or approach for their work. This is normal, but as an outsider or future customer, we are not in position to do a such evaluation. We have no other choice but to rely on recommendations from a friend or somebody who has used their service. Rhonda Hamel was highly recommended by my friend and by talking with other people, her reputation was not limited to my friend. As a senior, we are more suspicious but my first contact with her was very positive. Rhonda explained to me in detail what she will be able to do for me. At our age, the stress takes place easily when we are pushed for a decision, but Rhonda gave me all the time to decide without any pressure. She was also available all the time, regardless the agreement was not signed yet. Now the decision took place with all information in my hand and knowing what she will be doing for me. She also gave me some recommendation what I can do to help her. Rhonda wanted to create a team to reach her goal to sell my house. This kind of approach, you are never left in the dark and this meant less stress for me. I signed the contract, as expected the communication with the public was there. All the time, for each visit I was notified and given feedback. The team work was really in place. The satisfaction was mutual. Rhonda’s experience was used to eliminated problems that we can’t expect as a seller. Finally, an offer took place. You helped us find our forever home. We did not know you at all. We saw your name on a sign in Port Perry. Being new in Canada we did not know you need to have a Real estate agent to be able to view properties. We called you and ask you if you would show us the house you were selling. You ask if we had to real estate agent and our real estate agent needed to contact you to set up a time to view the house. At that point we inform you that we did not have a real estate agent you kindly show us the house in Port Perry without a signing any paperwork with you.
