Life At The Cottage.

It’s Friday night. Is everyone ready?  Bags packed. Coolers in the car. Let the weekend begin! North to cottage country we go and we can’t get there fast enough?  How much further?  Are we there yet?  I will never forget those words. I don’t know who was more excited. The kids or the adults.  The anticipation of putting the key in the door, the smell of the BBQ and an ice-cold drink in the hand. Aw… the good life. Saturday mornings were waking up, rolling over and looking at the lake while the sounds of the loons could be heard in the distance, coffee on the deck and the anticipation of a great day ahead. Boat rides, the kids splashing in the water and no deadlines. Moments like these are what it is all about.
